Blood Donation Camp was organised by the Alpha Foundation (Patna Chapter) in association with Rotary Club (Patna Chapter) on 6th Oct’07 in the premise of INC-Patna.
Students of 2006-08, 2007-09 & BFI (07-08) Batch actively participated in this camp by donating Blood.
The event was a great success as 35 donors including students & staff members donated blood.
The Rotary Club played an important role in successfully organising the event and they also arranged for the blood collectors i.e., Kurjee Holy Family Hospital.
The equipments/disposables required for the collection of blood were arranged by the blood collectors (Kurjee Holy Family Hospital).
The Blood collection was organised in the Room No. – 5 of INC Patna. The Room was neatly arranged with proper Air-conditioning.
Five beds were hired by INC Patna for smoothly conducting the collection of blood.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Medical Officer of Kurjee Holy Family Hospital, Dr. LB Sinha (Rotrian).
Center Head of INC Patna, Mr. Manoj Mishra encouraged the students & staff members for active participation. He also threw light on the need of donating blood and the social cause associated with it.
Rotary Club was represented by the club president Mr. Abhay Kumar Singh, Secretary Mr. Rajesh Kumar Agrawal and District Governor Elect Dr. LB Sinha.
Kurjee Hospital was represented by Ms. Juliana, the Administrator of the Hospital.
Members of the Rotary Club thanked INC Patna for organising the event and promised for their future association in organising many more socially & mutually benefited events.
The administrator of Kurjee Holy Family Hospital thanked INC Patna for the active participation in the Blood Donation Camp.
INC Patna arranged for glass of juice, Glucose & packets of fruits for the donors.
The moral of the students and the staff members was very high because of their active participation in this successful event and that too for a social cause.
The event was successfully covered by media/press (Times of India, Hindustan, Dainik Jagran, PTN News, etc.).
Banner of INC-Patna was placed at a proper place.
Vote of Thanks was given by Mr. Manoj Mishra, Center Head, INC Patna.
Over all, the Blood Donation Camp was a good Brand Building Event with proper media/press coverage.
Good coverage on local TV with interview of Principal.
